Welcome to S and J Acres, named for granddaughters Sylver and Jade. This 5 acre mini farm is dedicated to the girls, and for their enjoyment in the summer months when they come to visit from California.
This started with some Angus cows and Fainting goats. The Fainting goats have multiplied and the Angus cow/calves have been replaced by Boer goats. We also have turkeys, OEG bantams and 4 miniature donkeys, all jennies. The jennies have been bred to an almost white Jack and babies are to arrive during the spring of 2008.
The fainting goat herd has produced some great offspring. Many of the fainting goats are born polled and some have the blue eyes. They come in a wide variety of colors, from the traditional black and white, and some different shades of brown. We register with MGR, and occasionally show a few.
For sale most of the year, fainting goats, mini donks, boer goats, turkeys, etc. We encourage 4 H and FFA youth group buyers.
Currently we are members of SRMGA, MGR, MDR, Idaho Bird Breeders, and Idaho Water Garden and Koi Society. Visitors are always welcome.
