Promised*Landt Sensation
4 Apr 2001 ~ N1210005
Extended Pedigree

Sensation is a lovely doe, she is very tall and long and is
dripping in breed character with long wide pendulous ears
and a very roman nose! She has a lovely deep body and
brisket, wide level rump and excellent feet and legs. She
has a flat bone pattern and wonderful open spacing to her
ribbing. Her udder has the most beautiful udder texture you
could ever hope to feel, and she milks over 11 lbs. a day.
Her teat placement is nearly ideal, she has excellent MSL
and a beautiful extension to the fore udder. When milked out
her udder still retains a beautiful shape and texture.
She is perhaps a little heavy in her shoulders, but her
withers are still high and well defined blending into a long
elegant neck.
Sensation has a wonderful calm easy personality that is
simply a thrill to work with. She passes on this loving
personality to her kids, and they are very easy to show.
Sensation has been bred to
Ojibwa Indy-N Kootenai for '07 kids.
Kids are $400 each.
1 doe kid retained.

Promised*Landt Lilly's Liberty
9 Apr 2001 ~ N1205835
Extended Pedigree

Liberty is shown here as a 2 yr old with 12 hrs milk
Liberty is a light fawn brown, with a white
belt, spots, ears and nose. Liberty stole my heart from the
first time I saw her, she in turn followed me every where!
It left Liberty's poor breeder (Bea Landt) no choice but to
sell me this flashy little doe kid!
Liberty is long with a wide flat level rump.
She is wide with an open rip cage and a thin dairy neck,
deep brisket and is sharp over the withers. I would like to
see better (longer) ears on Liberty though.
Liberty hurt her leg when she was but a kid,
and has had a slight limp since, therefore she has only been
to one show where she took Res. CH Sr. Doe!! She has a nice
udder with so much udder texture that I have a hard time
bagging her up enough to get good udder pictures. I would
also like to see stronger feet and legs on this doe compared
to her body size. Liberty consistently throws really nice
kids!
Do to an over population explosion here in
the herd Liberty is on vacation on my mom's beautiful
mountain ranch for a year or two. |
Liberty's Offspring

Promised*Landt Anastasia
8 Apr 2002 ~ N1248942
Extended Pedigree

|
Anastasia is the Dairy Queen! Every thing about
this elegant doe just says I'm dairy. She has
a very long refined neck, smooth tight
shoulders, loose dairy skin, wonderful
flat bone pattern and nice open ribbing.
She has a long wide level rump, nice angle to
her rear legs and the most beautiful face and
ears. Everything about Anastasia is graceful
and sweet, she is like a gentle cloud queen
gliding through the barn.
Anastasia has a large milky udder, with nice
teat size and placement and good MSL. This girl
consistently milks off all her body weight so we
had to give her a year off so she could finally
put some flesh on.
Judges have complemented her on her dairyness
exclaiming that she was possibly the dairyest
doe in the show that day.
This beautiful doe was a surprise gift from my
daughter Jen and I have enjoyed every moment of
owning this doe!
Anastasia is bred to

Ojibwa Kids Indy-N Fairlight
17 Mar 2003 ~ N1362856
Extended Pedigree

|
Fairlight is
a very eye catching doe and not just because of
her flashy coloring! She has a long wide
exceptionally level rump, lose dairy skin, wide
open ribbing, a deep chest and brisket and very
sound feet and legs. She has a refined neck and
one of the most beautiful faces you could ask
for on a doe and with a personality of pure
gold! She has a style that sets her apart and
says look at me.
Fairlight's
udder is VERY high and wide in the rear!! She
has beautiful teat placement and nice MSL. She
could use a longer fore udder but still has
plenty there, this doe milks a ton and like her
dam her udder has super soft udder texture and
milks out just beautifully.
As a kid
Fairlight was nearly unbeaten, taking several
Jr. CH legs. As a dry yearling she was a
District Vll specialty Res. Jr. CH then 1st
place dry yearling at the '04 Oregon State Fair
with Res. Jr. CH and part of the 1st place Jr.
Get of Sire. She finished off a great show year
by taking the '04 INBA All American Res. CH Dry
Yearling!!! This is just
an amazing doe!!
Fairlight
has been bred to Ojibwa Indy-N Kootenai for '07
kids. Kids are $400.

Promised*Landt Pretty Sundance
7 May 2003 ~ N1282708
Extended Pedigree
|
Sundance is
a very pretty soft red spotted doe. I'm sorry I
don't have a picture to share of her. She
is a very pretty stylish doe, she has a very
strong top line, thin dairy neck and is just
very well put together! She has strong feet and
legs, nice angle to her rear legs and a wide
level rump. Her shoulder blending is smooth and
tight with high sharp withers.
Sundance's
udder is very high and wide in the rear with a
long smoothly blended fore udder. Her teat size
and placement is nearly idea and she has really
good delineation. This little doe just milks her
heart out putting about 10 1/2 or more lbs in
the pail a day! She has strong attachments and
has an over all very balanced udder.
So far I
have been very impressed with her kids, they
have all shown well when shown and her coming
two year old daughter Ojibwa Sagajawea is my most
favorite two year old in the barn!
Sundance was
going to be left dry for '07 to put some weight
back on after milking it all off but was
accidentally bred by my daughters Nigerian Dwarf
buck.

Ojibwa Indy-N Kachina Doll
11 Mar 2004 ~ N1289231
Extended Pedigree

|
Kachina is a
very eye catching doe (and not just because of
her color!) and is very nicely put together! She
is all I could have hoped and dreamed for when
I bred her CH parents together!
She has a
long strong top line, wide, long, level hips, a
deep heartgirth and brisket. She has loose
dairy skin, open ribbing, sound feet and legs
and a long thin dairy neck. Her udder is SUPER
high and wide in the rear, with attachments
going way down the inside of her leg. She has
nice MSL and good teat size and placement with a
long socked on fore udder. This doe has so much
of what I breed for in a Nubian.
Her dam
"Slipper" was 5XGCH, 2XRes.CH, 2XBIS, 3XBUIS.
She was a Dist. 7 INBA Nubian Specialty 1st
place 3 year old and Res. CH, along with the '04
Oregon State Fair Res. CH and Supreme Best Udder!
Kachina's
sire "Indy" was 10XGCH, 3X BBIS and the '04 INBA
All American 3-4 year old CH and the sire of the '04
Oregon State CH Senior Doe and Res. CH INBA All American two
year old!!
Kachina is a
very impressive young doe and I look forward to
great things from her as she matures.
I was so
impressed with her kids from last year that this
breeding has been repeated to Ojibwa Commanche.
Kids are $500. Last year both her kids
were very spotted!

Ojibwa Evening Firefly
14 Jun 2004 ~ N1307386
Extended Pedigree
|
Firefly is
black with some small bit of silver frosting by
her ears and neck with cream out line, spots and
white ears. She is the result of line breeding
on "Indy" who has been my most influential buck.
Firefly is
built very much like her dam, with a deep heart
girth and brisket, a super strong top line, long
wide level hips a thin pretty neck and nice
ribbing. Firefly came into a nice udder, very
high and wide in the rear, however she came
down with a mild mastitis's and her udder
went uneven. She was dried up very shortly after
kidding. It was a very exciting udder, with nice
MSL and good extension to fore udder and a very
nice rear udder. This is a very nice cross and
Firefly's kids from '06 are extremely nice.
I am very
anxious for this doe to kid and hope her udder
is ok and that I may finally show her! Firefly's
dam "Evenstar" was undefeated in the show ring
as a two year old first freshener, and was the
'04 Oregon State CH and INBA All American Res.
CH two year old!!
Firefly's
sire is my daughters buck Draco, who was 7 X Jr. CH,
3X Res. Jr. CH and the '04 INBA All American CH
yearling buck! With limited showing as a Sr.
buck he now has 3 Res. CHs and a LA score of 87
VEE at only one year of age!
Firefly has
been breed to Ojibwa Indy-N Kootenai, does only
$350.
This brings
in "Indy" again, these should be some very nice
kids and spots are a possibility!

Sutherland's Jolly-Star Satin
7 Mar 1999 ~ N1114500
Extended Pedigree

Shown here as a 2 yr old and milked out
|
Jolly is black with cream trim and a few small
spots, white ears and nose. She is a grand old lady, and
also my first Nubian doe to own. Jolly has an incredibly long,
strong top line. She passes this on to her offspring, along with
her very strong sound feet and legs and beautiful head features.
Jolly's kids have never failed to place less then the top 3rd of
any class. We are very proud of what this doe has done for us.
Her udder is sound and attached very tightly, I would like to
see more fore udder and better teat placement on her though. She
does have a wonderful MSL and plenty of production. Her line
takes a little longer to mature, and therefore stays a little
steeper in the rump for a year or two. |
