Welcome to Ojibwa Goat Coats!
Over the years,
a lot of people have seen my goats at the different
shows wearing goat coats that I have made for them
and asked me if I make goat coats to sell. So, I
have decided to give it a go and spend my fall and
winter months at the sewing machine making goat
coats!
Because goats
stress when traveling and showing or just from cold
winter days and nights, and because I love them so
much, I believe every goat should have the
opportunity to look their best at shows and
stay warm and comfy at home or in the show barn!
The goat coats
that I make were designed by me. I wanted them to be
practical and long wearing as well as nice to look
at. I will be making goat coats for full sized goats
as well as for Nigerians. Sizes will be determined
by measuring from the base of the goats neck to the
tailhead. The Nigerian line should work for the mini
breeders too!
I will be
offering a variety of fabrics, with lots of pretty
colors, from my lined "Windbreaker" Show Coats, to
the heavier lined Water Repellent Show Coat, or the
lined Work Coats made of heavy denim or duck
cloth that will keep a goat nice and warm on those
cold nights at home, on the road, at the show, or
when they are feeling under the weather!
I will also be able to offer the option of having
your Herd Name professionally
embroidered on them if you wish! Goat Clubs and
sponsors might want to order one as an award
with "Best In Show" or "Grand Champion" etc.

I will try and post a message on the various goat
networks on the internet to let people know the
exact date that the Goat Coat order form will be on
my web page. The web order form will offer the size,
fabric types, prices, and options for embroidery, as
well as approximate time to make the coats. There
will be a link so you can just email the order to
me.
Please let me
know (by email) if you would like to have a
Pay Pal option!! I would appreciate input
on this; otherwise I will take money orders.
