'04 All American GCH 3-4 year old Buck!

Indy is one of those beautiful once in a life time bucks, we are so
very grateful to have him in our herd as
our main herd sire. Most of our goats go back to him or are very
closely related. Indy is improving dairyness on all his kids
along with levelness over the topline, strength of feet and
legs, smooth sharpness over the withers and tremendous rear
udders with loads of production!
We didn't use Indy until late so are slow to
get his daughters into the show ring. One of Indy's first
daughters to freshen,
CH Celtic Stars Evenstar was
undefeated in the show ring as a two year old where she easily
finished her championship then went on to become the '04 OR
State CH at only two years old! She finished off a great year by
taking the '04 All American Res. CH Two year old!
In May of 2003 at a Buck Show in Oregon, Indy was GCH Senior
Buck in all 3 rings with one BBIS, and his 3 month old son
Celtic Stars Draco was GCH Junior Buck in all three rings!
Pretty good for a father and son team!
Also Indy's son Celtic Stars Draco was 7 X Jr.
CH and was the '04 All American CH yearling buck! An Indy
daughter,
Ojibwa Kids Indy-N Fairlight
was the '04 Res. All American dry yearling and the Res. Jr. CH
at the OR State Fair!
Indy was also the sire of the 1st place Jr. Get
of sire at the '04 OR State Fair!
Please note that Elixir was disqualified due to
his new owner was not a member of INBA at the time so his name
and picture won't show up.
Another one of Indy's sons (Ojibwa Kids Indy-N
Chief) who now makes his home in N. CA was the sire of the 1st
place Jr. get of sire at a Dist. Vll specialty show! He
also has 1 Jr. CH and 2 Res. CH to his name.
So far all of Indy's kids, both bucks and does
have excelled in the show ring. He passes on to all of his kids
an easy willing personality that makes them just a treasure
to own and show.
Indy is super tall and long with a killer
topline, extremely sound feet and legs, super sharp withers,
wide deep brisket, loose dairy skin, wide open ribbing and that
super wonderful personality!
Indy was a bomb in the show ring, judges just
loved him! He was 10 X GCH and BOB and 3 X BBIS! We finally got
Indy appraised and he got a grand score of 91 EEE!
Take a look at just a few of the better known
Indy kids!
These are only a few, please view the yearling
doe page to see some of Indy's dry daughters and grand
daughters.
I will be up dating soon with more pictures of
some of his other kids that now live with other breeders.

Indy & Draco at a buck show
|
Kootenai is a very nice tall super sharp
buck! I can't express in words my joy in having this awesome
buck as one of my herd sires. This boy has everything a buck
should have, smooth tight high withers, a long lean very
dairy neck, long strong top line, wide long level hips,
wonderful angle to his rear legs, great feet and legs, open
ribbing and tons of loose dairy skin! To complete a very
nice package he has awesome coloring and a sweet gentle
easy to handle and work with personality.
Everything about this handsome boy is DAIRY!
I could not have asked for more when I crossed his CH sire
and CH dam together.
Kootenai's litter mate sister
Ojibwa Indy-N Kachina Doll
has one of the highest widest rear udders in my herd!
Kootenai's dam (CH Promised*Landt
Golden Slipper) was 5X GCH, 2X Res. CH, 2X BIS, 3X BUIS, 5X
BOB, an '04 Dist. 7 INBA Nubian specialty 1st place 3 year
old and Res. CH and then she finished off a great show year
by going Res. CH at the Oregon State Fair with Supreme Best
Udder!!
Kootenai's sire (CH Promised*Landt Indiana
Jones ~ 91 EEE) was 10X CH and 3X BBIS! Indy was also the '04
INBA All American CH 3-4 year old buck and the sire of the
'04 Oregon State CH and 1st place Jr. get of sire.
Kootenai himself was the '04 INBA All American CH Jr.
Buck!!
I am extremely pleased with both of
Kootenai's daughters (Ojibwa Toketee Queen & Ojibwa
Sagajawea) who like their sire are super dairy individuals
and I wait with great anticipation to see how they udder up.
Kootenai has been bred to several does this
year and I look forward to getting more of his beautiful
kids on the ground.
