Hello and welcome to the Celtic Stars
herd of Nubians & Nigerians.

We just moved and are renting a five acre place near Bend OR.  Along with the goats we also have horses, cats, and a few dogs.

My husband Joe, is into cars and trucks and is very good at building engines and welding together frames. I spend my days with our young daughter Felicity, my goats, horses and working on my writing, drawing, and custom model horse creations.

Here at Celtic Stars we strive to breed a long dairy goat with level top lines, soundness of feet, and a well balanced, nicely attached, productive udder. All goats are given lots of care and love, are housed in warm barns and have free choice salt, mineral, feed, and of course all the fresh water they can drink.

Along with showing I also teach most of my goats to pack, even the does. This is started at a very young age, and proves very helpful in the show ring as most kids lead very well. My oldest doe of 9 still jumps over logs and can be shown with your little finger.

At fairs I enjoy taking my goats around in full "pack" and talking to the public. Even the police force has expressed an interest in packing with goats after seeing a display. That and it draws a lot of attention to the versatility of the goat. I also enjoy taking my younger goat kids and dressing them up in butterfly wings, sparkly accents, flowing fabrics and dazzling little crowns and walking though the crowds. People seem to love to see the "princess/butterfly " goats walking around; and my goats seem to love all the attention they get from adoring crowds!

I do a 4-H discount with proof of membership, and with a filled out application I do a "Give a Kid to a Kid" program. Where one youth a year may be eligible to win a FREE doe "or buck" !! Please see my application form and read rules there.

I enjoy showing and giving clinics on showmanship and conformation. I am looking forward to becoming an active 4-H leader in my new community and helping young goat minds learn!

With time and money allowing I am hopeful to become an ADGA and MDGA judge. I do and will judge any unsanctioned shows for people.

I hope you enjoy your time looking though my herd and feel free to stop by and meet the boys and girls in person, they love company! Phone calls and e-mails are always welcome!

Have a splendid day, and thank you for taking the time to look my herd over.
