RULES: Goats will be placed with serious young goat owners only! The purpose of my program is not to just "give away" a goat to be used as a pet, weed eater, food, toy for some dog or for resale purposes!

This program was set up to help ONE dedicated youth a year get a "good" quality show goat. 

No "culls" will be given out to any kid.

If a kid is shipped "You must be willing and ready to pay all shipping costs. (shipping, crate, health papers ect.)

To be eligible to win a kid from the "Give a Kid to a Kid" program you must have:

•  Proof of age.

• Be active in showing or have a desire to show.

• Be under 18 years of age

• Be able to provide correct care, shelter, feed and water for the goat.

• Must be willing to send pictures of how you do with your new goat!!

• And promise to give your goat lots of love and care!

1. Do you have a safe warm place for your goat to sleep at night and get out of any bad weather?

2. Do you offer free choice salt and minerals?

3. How many times a day would/do you feed and water?

4. Are your fences safe from dangerous holes and loose barbed wire?

5. Would the goat have room to roam and get exercise and sunshine?

6. Are you a member of 4-H?

7. Do you have someone (friend or parent) that is knowledgeable about goats and could help you?

8. Do your parents support you getting goats?

9. Do you own any other goats?  If so, what kind?

10. Do you know how to give shots and worm?  If not, is there someone who could help you?

11. Do you know how to trim hoofs?

12. Would you keep in contact and let me know how the kid does for you?

13. Please describe what your goals are and what you would do if you won a kid.

Pictures of the barn and facility's will help in choosing the right kid, so send as many pictures as you want!
