Our soaps are made with our own dairy goats milk that we raise. The name Buttercup came from our first milking doe we bought. She was also our herd leader. In loving memory of Buttercup.

Why goats milk soap & what makes it better than other soaps?

Goats milk contains alpha hydroxy acids that help rejuvenate the skin. Also when goats milk is used in soap, it brings out the natural glycerin contained within. Glycerin attracts moisture to the skin, in turn, helps to decrease dry itchy skin. (Glycerin is removed in manufactured soaps.) Milk soap has a ph balance very close to human ph. This makes it ideal for young & mature skin. We use NO detergents in our soaps and NO alcohol or dyes in any of our products.  Our products are "mostly" natural. We do use manmade skin safe fragrances.

The soaps we make are not melt & pour or glycerin soaps. They are called "Cold Process soaps", made from my own recipes (from scratch).  We test them on ourselves & our family/friends before selling. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
